Out and about this week after the end of year break and excited for a big year ahead.
One of things we do is rectify work done by other companies.
Today we are looking at a claim under the Home Warranty Scheme. Some of the simplest things are so often just not done right.
Incorrect fixing distances mean the cladding has popped loose everywhere and insurance is now footing the bill to have the entire building correctly re-clad (along with a list of other rectification works).
Rather than going through this inconvenience and frustration for the owners, it could have so easily been avoided. Sadly, this is so often the case.
